Ubuntu Linux and Compiz

So I finally decided to upgrade to the latest Ubuntu Linux distro (6.06 - dapper drake). The upgrade was flawless, in fact it was soo smooth I even notice that the latest version has vastly improved in performance compared to 5.10 release. I also decided install the new Compiz effects a try eventhough Xgl & AIGLX are still very alpha technology. Nonetheless, when all was said and done my computer now has some crazy effects, and it’s still more stable then any windows machine I’ve ever used.
