The Young Folks Mix Tape

September 30th, 2007

In the mid 90’s the electronic music scene in Victoria was surreal. Wither you were visiting Tophers, the Limit, or an epic Noble House show… house music became the benchmark in music for a new generation. However, as time progressed long gradual sets became a thing of the past, and in this post rave era I found myself visiting Twilo, Stereo and other clubs throughout North America looking for that perfect sound. At these clubs DJ’s could tell a story, and there were no limits on time. From John & Sasha to Danny Tenaglia the sets were long and drawn out as they built a new sound, a new house, and a new era in dance music. This mix is for the friends that loved that sound… Now put away that lipstick, and get out there and dance!

So morley, finally had the pleasure of listening to your new mix. So here is my critic. The track listing you have choosen is very well put together EXCEPT for the second track( i think that i have expressed that in person). The flow of the whole mix is something recognzible as a Morley’s style.

So, i give you 4 of 5 rockstars.

half off the the second track and half off for the last mix that didn’t flow as well and the EXTRA song…..not a fan of that track.

Going out somewhere with friends is just as much lot of fun, as coming to this website. Always has something to laugh at, a lot of things to share with each other, and it’s much easier to make friends here, than anyone would think! I come to this website when I have problems, and always leave it in a good mood. It really helps a lot!
